March 18 - 20    Goodtimers’ Hockey Draft
  Lace up the skates and join in this senior hockey weekend.  The draft is held on Friday night, and games run through the weekend. Phone 
April 15 Watoto Children's Choir
  The Watoto Children's Choir travel internationally to help raise an understanding of the plight of Africa's orphans. Watoto's performances are a soulful blend of native African rhythms, contemporary gospel music and ethnic dance.  Watoto is a Church based organization that cares for orphans and widows in Uganda. Their goal is to raise the next generation of Ugandan leaders. Coffee and Desserts to follow. Brightwood Ranch 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Admission is free. Donations Gratefully Accepted. Call 780-727-3840
April. 30 Grouch’s Ball
  Our Evansview Elementary Parents Advisory Council hosts a dressy affair at the Legion Hall.  The event has a live and silent auction to raise money for the elementary school.  It’s a great supper followed by a live band.  Phone Tove @ 780-727-2674
May 7 - Oct Farmers Market
  The Evansburg Farmers Market opens on Main Street until October.  The market is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 pm.  Vendors call Tipple Park Museum @ 780-727-2240
June 3 - 4 Wildwood Bronc Bustin”
  Wildwood hosts this sanctioned event that brings together the best saddleback riders.  The stakes are high, and the fun lasts and lasts.  Enjoy the stage show on Saturday night. Phone Rod @ 780-325-2528
2nd Weekend June   Rangeton Folk Festival
  Rangeton Park is a hidden gem located north of Evansburg on the Pembina River.  Enjoy a weekend full of music with performers ranging from country to folk to blues to rock. Call Wendy @780-786-4824
July 2 - 3 Entwistle Rodeo
  Here is another part of the homecoming events, a full event amateur rodeo that cannot be matched for fun and excitement.  Be sure to get tickets for both days, as you’ll want more of the action!  The rodeo grounds are in south Entwistle. Contact Cindy Miller @ 780-727-3767
July. 1 Canada Day Celebrations
  Entwistle hosts Friday evening fireworks, a Friday parade at noon, and a variety of other games and events to celebrate Canada’s birthday. Call Verna @ 780-716-2304
July 8 - 9 Pembina River Nights
  Enjoy a weekend of great folk music in the setting of the lovely Rangeton Park.  Top notch entertainment—you’ll be surprised just how good.  Hurry in early for a camping spot.  www.smallshieldmusic.com
July 8 - 10 Chip Lake Music Festival
  The scenic Chip Lake near Wildwood is the background setting for the Chip Lake Music Festival.  Chip Lake has a nice camping area, and is a wonderful spot to get back to nature. Call Elmer @ 780-325-2119
Aug. 5 - 7 Pembina Valley Daze
  Join the village of Evansburg in their celebration.  Friday night starts off with a car rally and steak barbeque at the Legion.  Saturday morning has a pancake breakfast, parade, farmers market, kids’ zone, and more. Enjoy the barbeques and beer gardens at the Legion. Call Al @780-727-3526
Aug. 6 Lone Wolves Pembina River Run
  Included in the PV Daze activities--the Lone Wolves Antique Hot Rod car club has been making its way to Evansburg’s main street for over 30 years.  Enjoy a show and shine of over100 cars, from noon to 3:30 p.m. on main on Saturday.  Call Jack @ 780-727-2038.  If you are interested in entering a hot rod, call too.
Aug. 19 Wildwood Agricultural Fair
  Enjoy the old-time atmosphere at the Wildwood Fair.  The parade and fair run Friday.  There is something for everyone at one of the oldest fairs in Alberta. It’s a must see!  Call Anna Clare @ 780-786-4649
Oct. 28 Family Halloween Party 
  Friends of the Entwistle Learning Society is putting on this family dance for all ages.  For information please contact Sarah at 780-995-5944
Nov. 11 Remembrance Day Celebrations
  The Legion hosts the Remembrance ceremony honouring our soldiers and servicemen, followed by a program and a meal.  
Nov. 19 Santa’s Anonymous Dinner, Dance and Auction
  Enjoy a great meal and dance and a huge live auction.  Proceeds go to the Santa’s Anonymous Campaign.  Wildwood hall is the sight of this event. Contact Irene @ 780-727-2393
Nov. 25 Moonlight Madness
  Mainstreet Evansburg turns on the Christmas lights, and the kicks off the Holiday shopping season.  Look for fantastic deals, Santa’s arrival, and sleigh rides. Contact Candice @ 780-727-4438
