*May - October - The Evansburg Farmer's Market opens on Main Street. The market is OPEN Saturdays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Vendors please call Al at 780-727-6526
*Stop in at the Historical Society’s Tipple Park, the site of the original coal mine’s tipple. (Closed For Season)
*Enjoy our trail system running from the park to and thru both Entwistle and Evansburg. Click Here to download a map
*Enjoy the Pembina River on a tube from Pembina River Tubing Co. up the Entwistle hill. (Open May Long Weekend)
*The Pembina River Golf Club overlooks Evansburg just north of the Lobstick River. (Closed For Season)
*Shop Entwistle and Evansburg’s for delectable eats, unique shops, and down home hospitality.
*Wildwood is a short jog west and is home to the Wildwood Gallery, a pottery barn, and the bird sanctuary at Chip Lake.
*On a short drive north you can find the Paddle River Dam, and drive on to CN’s picturesque Rochfort Bridge. Take in the Trading Post there.
* Mayerthorpe’s Fallen Four Memorial is a must see. Also take in the elevator museum and gallery.
*Scamper to the east for Gainford’s antiques
* Just a bit further to Seba Beach for a lively game of mini golf @ Trickle Creek. (Closed For Season)

Chip Lake Ice Race - This is a must see event, as competitors from all over Alberta race motorbikes, and quads on sheer ice. This is a sanctioned event. There is a fishing derby planned as well. Goodtimers’ Hockey Draft - Lace up the skates and join in this senior hockey weekend. The draft is held on Friday night, and games run through the weekend. Phone Fred @ 780-727-4209. |

Pembina Valley Daze - Join the village of Evansburg in their celebration. Friday night starts off with a car rally and steak barbeque at the Legion. Saturday morning has a pancake breakfast, parade (11 am), farmers market, kids’ zone, and more. Enjoy the barbeques and beer gardens at the Legion. Lone Wolves Pembina River Run - Included in the PV Daze activities--the Lone Wolves Antique Hot Rod car club has been making its way to Evansburg’s main street for over 30 years.
