MARCH 23-25 GOODTIMERS’ HOCKEY DRAFT AND TOURNAMENT
  Lace up the skates and join in this senior hockey weekend.  The draft is held on Friday night, and the games run through the weekend.  Phone Brandon @ 542-1649
APRIL 7 ENTWISTLE’S SPRING SALE

APRIL 28 THE GROUCH’S BALL
  Our Evansview Elementary PAC hosts a dressy affair at the Legion Hall, to raise money for the elementary programs.  Enjoy both a silent and live auction, great meal and some lively dancing music.  For more information contact Jackie @ 780-621-1159.

JUNE 2 BRIGHTWOOD RANCH HORSEBACK RIDE-A-THON
  Brightwood Ranch is owned and operated by the Hope Missions.  Why not saddle up for a great day of riding in this annual event.  The money raised is for underprivileged kids to attend summer camps.  Ride your horse of Brightwood’s.  To donate or to ride, contact the ranch at 1-780-727-3840.

JULY 1 ENTWISTLE’S CANADA DAYS CELEBRATION
  Entwistle Community League hosts July 1.  Enjoy Pancake Breakfast at 9 am, parade at 11 am, a variety of games and events all day and 11 pm. fireworks to mark Canada’s Birthday.  Call Verna @ 780-716-2304.
JULY 13-14 PEMBINA RIVER NIGHTS

JULY 13-15 CHIP LAKE MUSIC FESTIVAL
  Chip Lake is the background setting for the Chip Lake Country Music Festival.  Chip Lake has a nice camping area.  Call Elmer @ 780-325-2119.
AUG 10-12  PEMBINA VALLEY DAZE
  Join Evansburg in their celebration. Friday starts Car Rally and a steak barbeque at the Legion, followed by entertainment and fireworks.  Saturday take in a pancake breakfast, a parade, farmers’ market, kids’ zone, 3 on 3, and more.  Enjoy the Legion barbeque followed by a tribute to the Beatles at the Legion.  Fun Run on Sunday.  Call Al @780-727-3526.
AUG 11 LONE WOLVES RIVER RUN CAR SHOW
  Included in the fun of PV Daze is the Show and Shine.  The event has been in existence for 40 years this year.  Enjoy the cars on main, following the parade.  For more information or to enter a vehicle, contact Al @ 780-727-3526.
AUG 17 WILDWOOD AGRICULTURAL FAIR
  Enjoy the old-time atmosphere at the Wildwood Fair.  The parade and fair run Friday.  There is something for everyone at one of the oldest fairs in Alberta.  It is a must see!  For more information call Wilma@780-325-2424.
SEPT ???? PEMBINA KIDS SPORTS BALL/HOCKEY TOURNEY
